What Nualingo is
Nualingo is a web app that listens to two people sharing one device, shows what each says as captions, translates it with a third-party translation service and reads the translation aloud with a synthetic voice. It is provided by GCI Solutions Limited, and these terms are an agreement between you and that company.
The free trial
Visitors without an account get three minutes of translation each day. Unused trial time does not carry over. We may change the length of the trial with notice on this page.
Plans and Visit Passes
Plans give a set number of hours each month and are billed monthly or yearly. A Visit Pass gives 10 hours for 14 days, is charged once and never renews. If you have both, the Visit Pass hours are used first. Time spent in captions only, without the voice, counts at half.
Renewals and cancelling
Plans renew automatically. We email a reminder before each renewal. You can cancel in one tap in Settings; you keep your hours until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens to your words
Speech is turned into text and sent to a translation service to produce captions and the voice. Conversations are not kept after they end unless you switch on saving, and then only the text is kept, never the audio. Saved conversations stay in your account until you delete them. Not a professional interpreter
Translations can be wrong or incomplete. Do not use Nualingo for medical, legal or official matters; use a professional interpreter instead.

Using it fairly
Tell the other person that the conversation is being interpreted by an AI voice. The notice shown before the first word does this in both languages. Do not record or save people without their agreement.
